How to check the software version of my ARES Genesis locator?
ARES locators are shipped with the latest software version at the time of manufacturing. Go to Settings, then select Software updates. If this is the first time connecting to Wi-Fi, select the network and enter the password. After connecting, the locator checks the software version.
- If the software is up to date, the version is displayed.
- If the locator needs an update, select Download and install and follow the directions. The locator will restart after the update is complete.
