Toggle down to enter the main menu and navigate to the option labeled ‘Transmitter Selection.’ The middle icon is also labeled ‘Transmitter Selection.’ In this menu you can decide between the Falcon F5, Falcon F2, Sub-k Rebar, and DucTrak transmitters.
Double check that your transmitter is powered on
First, roll the transmitter. They will fall asleep after 15 minutes of inactivity. If you do not have data and are above ground, insert fresh batteries. Lithium batteries will show 100% up until they’re nearly depleted.
Perform a Transmitter Information request
Toggle down into the main menu and over to ‘Transmitter Selection.’ The third options is for viewing ‘Transmitter Information.’ Hold the flat section of your transmitter up to the black IR port on your locator and click ‘Transmitter Information Request’ to read your transmitter. Pay attention to battery voltage as yours may be low/dead. Lithium battery should have 3.6V if new. Alkalines should read 3.2V if new.
